On-site Evaluation
On-site evaluation at your facility or location to quantify and
reduce exposure to chemicals, noise and musculoskeletal stressors.
On-site evaluation involves talking with management and employees
and presenting a range of possible controls along with their associated
cost and effectiveness. Solutions that are based on knowledge
and consensus, as well as being cost effective, work the best.
Distance Evaluation
For many problems it may not be necessary to come on site. Ergonomic
risk factors can often be identified from videotapes or still
images supplemented with your on-site observations and discussion
with those involved. Other situations including respiratory protection,
hearing protection and risk assessment and communication, may
also be addressed this way. The savings in terms of travel costs
can be substantial. Contact us if you are interested in exploring
this option.
Training
Informed people make informed choices in any organization. For
training to be valuable to you it has to meet your needs and fit
into your schedule and way of working. There are a lot of good
training materials available. What they lack are the one-on-one
interaction and the ability to answer questions specific to your
workplace. We can help you select an appropriate training program
and we can be available to:
* answer specific questions
* clarify points during discussion
* make the overall training experience successful.
This can be done on site or long distance through phone and/or
computer technology.
Compliance Audits
Compliance concerns are best addressed before citations. Citations,
however, may trigger new concerns. In either case, our experience
with occupational health, safety and environmental regulations
will assist you in this area.
